What most people get wrong is that they think it's all about looking outward for ideas, but it's really about looking inward. Copying other peoples work and being too heavily inspired or derivative of other's work, is deceptive and soulless. What I can teach you is how to turn towards your own inner voice and develop a unique point of view - It's about finding your own North Star where you follow your calling instead of forcing meaning. Small Works Group ShowIn Early 2027, new work will be exhibited at Trygve Lie Gallery at the Norwegian Seamans Church as part of a Fundraiser for the American Scandinavian Society.
Celebrating 20 years of the American Scandinavian Society Cultural Grants and Art Awards, a group of Visual Arts Awardees are exhibiting in the first annual small works exhibition. The exhibition will take place within the King Olav V Norwegian Cultural Center/ Trygve Lie Gallery at 312 East 52nd street New York in the winter of 2027. |

FafnirIn Norse mythology, Fafnir embodies covetousness, becoming so consumed by the desire to possess a treasure that he transforms into a dragon. His story reminds us that the deepest form of covetousness is not simply the desire to possess what belongs to another, but the attempt to steal what can never truly be owned—their spirit, their identity, their very soul. In the end, it is this insatiable need to possess that slowly devours the covetous soul, destroying the very person who sought to take what was never theirs.
